Looking for a cheerful, easy paper craft?

This origami tomato is a charming little project that’s simple enough for kids to fold, but satisfying for adults too.

Using just one square sheet of red paper, you’ll create a plump tomato shape in just a few minutes—no scissors, glue, or tricky folds required.

It’s a fun choice for classroom activities, summer crafts, or even as a prop in pretend play kitchens.

If you're making paper fruit and vegetables for a display, or want to top a card with something a bit more unique, this origami tomato is a perfect option.

Use it to add a pop of red to a garland, decorate a table for a garden party, or just have fun folding something quick and playful.

And if you don’t have green and red double-sided paper, don’t worry!

You can use a green marker or cut a little leaf topper to add detail once your fold is finished.
