- 4 square sheets of origami or lightweight colored paper (1 for the base, 3 for the body)
- Glue or double sided tape

Instructions
Making the body of the desk organizer
Step 1: Start with the color you want your organizer to be facing down.
Step 2: Fold the top edge down to meet the bottom edge.
Step 3: Fold the left edge to meet the right edge.
Step 4: Unfold previous step.

Step 5: Fold both the right edge and left edge to meet the middle crease.
Step 6: Unfold previous step.
Step 7: Fold the right edge (top layer only) back towards the middle crease and press flat.
Step 8: Repeat previous step for the left edge. These flaps (that you made in step 7 and 8) will be used to glue your organizer together in the later steps.
Completed piece. Repeat previous steps for 2 sheets of paper. You will have 3 folded pieces in total.

Making the bottom of the desk organizer
Step 1: Start with the color you want your base to be facing down.
Step 2: Fold the bottom edge up to meet the top edge.
Step 3: Unfold previous step.
Step 4: Fold the left edge to meet the right edge.
